False Ceiling & Partition Services in Bangalore

Fifteen ceiling and partition systems installed end-to-end across the city. Pick the system that fits your space — or talk to us, and we'll recommend one.

Bangalore homes and offices have wildly different needs. A 2BHK apartment in HSR Layout calls for one approach; an IT office in Electronic City calls for another; a heritage villa in Jayanagar calls for something else again. There is no single "best" false ceiling.

What there is, is a right system for your specific space — chosen against your room dimensions, lighting plans, moisture exposure, acoustic needs, and intended use. Pick wrong, and you'll be living with the regret for a decade. Pick right, and a false ceiling becomes the single biggest visual upgrade your space will ever see.

Below are the fifteen systems we install, with the materials we use and the rooms each system suits. See recent projects across Bangalore or talk to us if you'd like a recommendation for your space.

Materials We Use — Brands That Last

  • Saint-Gobain (Gyproc)

France-headquartered, manufacturing in India for decades. Their gypsum boards are the benchmark for residential and commercial ceiling work in Bangalore — straighter, denser, and more dimensionally stable than unbranded alternatives.

  • Armstrong

The global standard for grid ceilings. Their mineral fibre and metal tiles dominate office, education, and healthcare ceilings worldwide. We use Armstrong on grid projects where acoustic performance and tile longevity matter.

  • USG Boral

A joint venture between US Gypsum and Boral, with manufacturing in India. Their gypsum boards and metal sub-frame components are widely specified by architects on high-spec residential and commercial projects where dimensional tolerances are tight and substitution risk is unacceptable.

A note on brands: if a contractor's quote does not specify the brand of board, framing, and screws, ask before signing. Generic boards typically last 5 years before they show; branded boards from Saint-Gobain, USG Boral, or Knauf hold for 15 plus. The difference shows up exactly when warranty matters.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which false ceiling system is best for a Bangalore apartment?

For most 2BHK and 3BHK Bangalore apartments built after 2010, gypsum is the right answer for living rooms, dining areas, and bedrooms. Use PVC for kitchens, balconies, and bathrooms. POP still works well if the design is traditional or POP cornices are required. We confirm the right choice during the free site visit, after seeing your specific room heights, slab condition, and design preferences.

Do you handle the design or do I need a designer?

Both routes work. If you already have a designer's drawings, we execute to those drawings exactly. If you don't, we'll suggest ceiling layouts that fit your room proportions, lighting plan, and design brief. For straightforward residential work this is part of how we propose; for complex projects we recommend bringing in a designer and can coordinate with yours.

What is the difference between gypsum and POP — really?

Gypsum boards are factory-made to consistent thickness and bonded to a metal frame. POP is wet-applied plaster spread over a chicken-mesh-and-wood frame. Gypsum is faster, lighter, more dimensionally stable, and gives sharper edges and tighter joints. POP allows softer curved details and decorative cornices that gypsum cannot replicate. Most modern designs are gypsum; most traditional designs are POP.

How do I know if a false ceiling contractor is using genuine branded materials?

Ask to see the boards before installation. Saint-Gobain Gyproc, Armstrong, and USG Boral all carry visible brand markings on every sheet. Check the screws, channels, and angle profiles too — branded systems use branded framing. Ask for the quotation to specify board brand, board thickness (commonly 12.5 mm), and framing brand. If a contractor refuses to put brand specs in writing, that's the only signal you need.

Do you work weekends or after office hours for commercial projects?

Yes. We've completed multiple office and retail projects on weekend-only or after-hours schedules to avoid disrupting client operations. The timeline gets longer (we move at maybe 60 percent of normal pace) but it's a workable model for occupied commercial spaces. The trade-offs and any schedule premium are spelled out in the quote after the site visit.
